Tie bars and anchors

Tie bars and anchors are used to connect a pile to another structure or two or more piles together in order to provide additional support.

Tie bars are typically made of steel and are installed by drilling/cutting into the piles and attaching them with bolts or welds.

Piling anchors are also used to provide additional support for a structure, but are typically installed by driving them into the ground and attaching them to the piles with cables or chains.
